Extensions & Handsets - MediCall 50 is initially configured to support the current
staff levels with digital extensions (including more advanced sets for the main operators),
however the flexibility ensures that additional extensions can easily be added if
required.
Call Park- callers can easily be parked or placed on hold. The caller can then be
retrieved by an member of staff on any handset. You will never lose a caller again.
M-Call - every MediCall handset is equipped with M-Call, the facility to put an immediate
page out to other members of Staff in the event of an emergency.
Lines & Numbering - MediCall is designed to support digital (ISDN) telephone lines.
It works with your existing ISDN lines. A full review of your existing lines is carried
out before they are configured to ensure that there is always a line available for
outgoing calls in the event of an emergency.
DDI (Direct Dial Numbers) - where they are not already used, MediCall will allow
operational staff to be contacted via DDI numbers. MediCall eliminates the need for
all calls to pass via reception and ensures that non essential call traffic is routed
past busy reception areas.
MediCall 50 is for Practices with less than 5,000 Patients. MediCall 50 is the telephone
system for Practices who see no need to introduce any level of automated call handing,
and just wish to purchase a basic telephone system.
